Yes- a truly bizarre concert indoctrination. At the time, I despised contemporary tunes, hadn't discovered independent music, and was convinced that the only decent music which would ever exist had been recorded by 1979 (which is possibly half true.) |

The Strokes with Eagles of Death Metal, spring of '06. Impeccable performers. However, I tend to frequent small Denver venues- they've got real character and intimate atmosphere. |

Most Desperately Desired Musical Reunion:

The Clash, but I don't want to hear any material recorded after "Black Market Clash." But in all honesty, reunions are usually pretty pathetic. Geezers just can't replicate the glory of their heyday. If I ever saw an incontinent Pete Townshend growl "I hope I die before I get old," I don't think I could handle the irony. |
