How I Met Radio 1190:

I discovered CU had a radio station my freshman year in 1997 when I cohosted with a friend who had an evening shift when the station was KUCB. Eventually, I had time to volunteer and began hosting in 1999 and have been doing so on/off again since. |

First Album Purchased:

I've always been into buying records. I guess the first record I bought with my own money was some cartoon record at Cinderella City wehn I was visiting family ( I have no clue what the name is but it was some rose petal character)...but then I discovered Def Leppard and spent my babysitting money on that (I think). If not I know I definitely spent my money on hamburgers from MacDonalds so I could get that free record with purchase...you know the Big Mac rap song...I am certain I spent money on that one so I wouldn't have to share it with my siblings. |

It was a good year to be a kid, 1984--I was at the carnival, went to the rodeo, at cotton candy -- then that night, I saw the Judds. The next night I saw Johnny Cash. 1984 was a good year with all the coolest people I knew at the time...my family. I guess the first rock snowb concert I attended (and could drive to) was Sonic Youth in 1995. |

Highlights since 2000-M.I.A. at Gothic Theater 2003, Devo at Fiddlers Green 2005, The International Male and Mr. Pacman on New Year's Eve 2004 at Climax, The Faint at some club I can't remember in Camden Town (London) in 2003, Sigur Ros and Coil at Royal Albert Hall 2002, Daniel Johnston at 15th Street Tavern 2002, Badly Drawn Boy at Bluebird Theater 2001 and PJ Harvey at the The Knitting Factory in 2000. |
